Nkechukwu Otike-Odibi is currently the Senior Counsel, Legal and Business Affairs at Papaya Studios, a film studio with over four feature films to its credit since its inception in January 2023. Prior to this, she was the Head of Legal at EbonyLife Media, where she advised on a number of groundbreaking international co-production and licencing deals with Netflix, Sony and Westbrook, among others, including the first Netflix multiple co-production/licensing deal with an African production company and the first Sony first-look deal with an African production company.
